Menu are not linked

If I import from the Nicepage program the ZIP into the program the menu entries are not imported. Also the menu entries are not linked. what am I doing wrong?

How do you click on an email address and have it open the user's default email application (i.e. Gmail or Outlook)?

On a page I have bios of several staff members along with their email address. I'd like the user to be able to click on it and have it open their default email application. How do I do this?
