Introduction

You can use the Nicepage Extension to create and design Articles on your hosted Joomla website.

Nicepage Joomla Extension

You can download the Nicepage Extension for Joomla from nicepage.com.

  1. Open nicepage.com.
  2. Click the "Download Now" button.
  3. On the Download page, click the Nicepage Joomla Extension button to download the zip.

You can also get the Nicepage Joomla Extension zip from the Desktop Applications for Windows or Mac OS containing the Nicepage Extension and Articles.

  1. Run the Desktop Application.
  2. Export the zip containing the Joomla Extension and Articles.

Installing Nicepage Extension for Joomla

  1. Open your Joomla Administrator.
  2. Go to Extensions -> Manage.
  3. Select the "Upload Package File" Tab.
  4. Select the Nicepage Joomla Extension zip from your local PC.
  5. Drag and drop the Nicepage Extension zip or browse for it.
  6. The installation will start automatically.
  7. After the installation, you will see the new Nicepage Tab on the Joomla Administrator Top Bar.

Importing Content

Note: the Nicepage Extension zip downloaded from nicepage.com does not contain Articles. For content, export Extension zip from Applications.

  1. Click "Nicepage -> Import Data".
  2. On the Import page, click the "Choose Files" button.
  3. Select the Extension zip exported from the Application.
  4. Check the import content coloring and typography settings.
  5. Click the Import button.
  6. After the installation, you will see a success message.

Creating Articles

  1. Go to "Nicepage -> New Page."
  2. Select a preset design or start from Blank.
  3. Save your Article.
  4. On the "Articles: Edit" page, click the "Preview page" button to preview your page.
  5. Click the Close button.

Updating Extension

The updates are available as for the Desktop Applications, as for the Joomla Extension.

  1. When a new version is released, you can see the notification on the Control Panel page.
  2. Click the "View Updates" button.
  3. On the "Extensions: Update" page, locate the Nicepage row in the table.
  4. Check the box in the Nicepage row.
  5. Click the "Update" button to install the Extension Update.
  6. Go to "Content -> Articles."
  7. Open any Joomla article created with Nicepage.
  8. Click the "Edit with Nicepage" button to run the Editor.

Checking Extension Version

  1. On the Nicepage Top Bar, click the "Info" icon.
  2. See the Extension version at the bottom of the list.
