Hi,

is there a way on NicePage (licensed or free), to get a copy of my site, but translated on the different language of my choice?

Best Regards,
- Adrian

Hello Adrian,

Nicepage multilanguage element doesn't translate anything. It creates an alternative version of the page with default language for another language and you can set different text for different languages.
In this case, you need to translate the text on your side on your own or using any available translation tools.

Anna.

So, if I just use this widget, I will get the whole site (like around 18 subpages + homepage) with the language switcher ready for me to translate?

Hello Adrian,

No, not exactly, you use the language switcher to add new text instead of the default. Nicepage will not add new text in a new language automatically.

I have been misunderstood.

I will do the whole contents stuff/translations.

I'm asking, if there is a way of making a bulk copying of my whole page with the subpages, and is there a way to fast connecting the original with the new clone by a button (like a flag hyperlinking to the cloned subpage in another language).

you see, its pretty easy to make a copy of 1 small page and connect them with the link-button. But its very tidious to make such process for 20+ small sites.

Hello Adrian,

Nicepage multilanguage works differently, there will be no 2 pages with 2 languages, but one page with an alternative version in a second language - https://nicepage.com/doc/300135/multi-language-sites and https://nicepage.com/doc/287393/language-element
In the case of using multilanguage with CMS, Nicepage Language feature is for Nicepage pages only. Therefore, if you're working with the Joomla/WordPress articles, it is better to use the CMS Language switcher.

Let us know.

Anna.
