Freelancer portfolio projects Web Page Design

The “My Works” block is composed as a two-column portfolio section with a deliberate difference in visual weight. The left column holds the black heading, compact supporting paragraph, and “View All” button, while the right column carries a large angled collage of colorful design compositions. A pale blue-gray background unifies the two areas without competing with the image. Above the heading, a small circular accent creates a visual entry point, and an attribution line accompanies the featured image. The layout remains static, relying on placement and contrast rather than interactive controls.

The Collage Anchors a Two-Column Page Composition

The right-side collage carries the strongest visual weight in this section, while the left column concentrates the information needed to understand and continue through the portfolio. The “My Works” heading establishes the subject first, the supporting paragraph adds context, and the black “View All” button provides a visible next step. Because these elements remain grouped, visitors can read the section and identify its action without crossing the image area.

The angled image introduces movement into an otherwise orderly split. Its collection of colorful design compositions contrasts with the pale blue-gray background and the black text treatment, making the portfolio visual the main page-level anchor. The coral circular accent above the heading offers a smaller counterpoint and helps prevent the left column from feeling visually empty beside the large image.

As one unit in a web page, the block can create a strong transition into or out of other content areas. Its composition is substantial enough to separate portfolio information from neighboring sections, yet focused enough to avoid carrying unrelated page functions. The static interaction keeps the design’s meaning in its hierarchy, spacing, alignment, and image-to-text balance.

Design a Web Page Section by Section

Choose a Design for Each Section

Build the page from individual content sections instead of starting with a fixed full-page layout. Use Block Designs to browse ready-made sections for different purposes, including introductions, services, galleries, testimonials, contact forms, pricing, and other common parts of a web page. Search or filter the available designs to find a layout that fits the content you want to add.

Combine Blocks and Page Elements

Add selected Blocks to the page and arrange them in the order that supports the page's purpose. A hero section can introduce the main message, followed by services, benefits, portfolio content, testimonials, calls to action, or contact information.

Inside each section, use Web Page Elements such as Text, Image, Hyperlink, Grid, Gallery, and other elements to build and present the page content. Individual elements can be added and adjusted within the Blocks, giving you more control over the composition of each section without having to create the complete layout from scratch.

Refine the Page Layout and Flow

After assembling the main sections, adjust their content, spacing, backgrounds, images, typography, and element placement in the Nicepage editor. Reorder Blocks when necessary and refine the transition from one section to the next so the information hierarchy and visual flow remain clear throughout the page.

This workflow makes the template useful as a web page design that can be composed from ready-made sections, customized with individual page elements, rearranged, and adapted to the content and purpose of an individual page.
