Starting from Nicepage 7.3, you can edit Header, Footer, Colors, Fonts, and Page Templates directly in Joomla. To use this feature, you should set the Nicepage Extension as a Style Source for all your site’s Articles, not only those created with Nicepage.

You can download and install the Nicepage Joomla Extension from nicepage.com. Alternatively, you can export and install the Joomla Template with Editor Extension from the Nicepage application or Online Builder.
In this video, we will download and install the Nicepage Extension for Joomla 5.

Download and Install Joomla Extension

Open the Nicepage download page in your browser at nicepage.com/download and click the Get Joomla 5 Extension button.

When the download is finished, open your site’s Joomla Administrator. Open the System, then click the Extensions in the Install section.

Browse and install the downloaded Nicepage Extension version 7.3 and higher. You should see success messages. If not, check the configuration and try to install it again.

Site Style Source

Open the Joomla Administrator Panel. Open the Nicepage Configuration.
You see the Site Style Source option with the Extension selected by default. The Extension option means changes in the colors, fonts, Header, footer, and page templates are applied to all Joomla Articles.

Otherwise, you can switch to the Template option to preserve the site look and continue using your current Joomla template for the Blog and Store, for example. The changes will be applied only to the articles created with Nicepage.

Click the Save button to continue.

Open or create an Article

Create a new Joomla Article with Nicepage or open an existing one.

Change Header

Modify the Header by choosing a preset with the Search Element, for example.

Click Save.

Edit Blog Page Template

Now, let’s modify the Blog Page Template. Click Templates on the Quick Access Pane, then the Blog Page Template to edit it.

The Blog has 3 columns by default.

Let’s decrease the Number of Columns to 2 and set the Items to 4 by changing the corresponding values with sliders in the Property Panel for the selected Blog Element on the Template.

Click Save.

To open a Blog page, you should have it in the Menu. If you do not have a link to the Blog in the Menu, add it with the Nicepage Editor or Joomla.

Select the Menu in the Header, then click the Eidt Menu button on the Context Toolbar to edit the Menu.

Add the new Menu item. Enter the Caption as Blog, and select the Blog as the Destination and the Category of the Blog Articles.

Save the Menu. Click Done. Click the Save icon to save the changes. Close the Editor.

Visit Your Site

Click the Site Name link at the top to open your site.

Click the newly added Blog link in the Menu on the Site's Home Page to view your Blog changes.

Check Theme Settings

Return to the Joomla Administrator. Click Colors in the Joomla Menu.

With the Extension as a Style Source, you can set the Header, Footer, Colors, Fonts, Typography, and Default Styles for Site Elements like Buttons and modify Page Templates.

The changes will be applied to all site Articles, including Nicepage and other Joomla articles.
