Nicepage Website Styles

Starting with Nicepage 7.3, you can edit Colors, Fonts, Headers, Footers, and Templates directly in WordPress or Joomla. To use these features, you need to select the appropriate Site Style Source for your website. You can download and install the Nicepage Plugin or Extension from the Nicepage website, or create and export a Theme using the Nicepage desktop application or Online Builder.

Download and Install the Nicepage Plugin

Go to Nicepage.com/download and click the Get WordPress Plugin button. Then, open your site's WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, and install Nicepage Plugin version 7.3 or higher. If an older Nicepage Plugin is already installed, replace it with the newly downloaded version.

Select the Site Style Source

During installation, the Site Style dialog appears. If you select Theme, your website will continue using the current WordPress Theme, and style changes will apply only to Nicepage pages. To use the full Nicepage Style Editor, select Plugin as the Source. This allows you to modify Colors, Fonts, Headers, Footers, and Templates across the entire website. Click Apply to continue. For first-time installations, Plugin is selected automatically, and you can change this setting later in Nicepage Settings.

Create a Page and Change the Header

Create a new WordPress page or open an existing one with Nicepage. You can now edit the site's Header directly from the Nicepage Editor. For example, select a Header preset that includes a Search Element, customize it as needed, and then save the page. When Plugin is selected as the Site Style Source, these design changes apply throughout the website.

Edit the Blog Template

Nicepage also allows you to edit WordPress Templates directly from the Plugin. Open the Nicepage menu, go to Templates, and select the Blog Page Template. By default, the Nicepage Blog may display posts in three columns. You can change the layout to four columns or customize other template settings, then click Save Changes.

Configure the Blog Page and Reading Settings

If your website does not already have a Blog page, create a blank WordPress page named Blog and save it. Then go to Settings > Reading in the WordPress Dashboard. Select the appropriate page for your Homepage and set the newly created Blog page as your Posts Page. You can also configure WordPress to display a maximum of four blog posts. Afterward, go to Appearance > Menus and add the Blog page link to your Primary Menu.

Test and Manage Site Styles

Click Visit Site to preview your website and open the Blog page to verify the changes. You can change the Site Style Source at any time by returning to WordPress Admin > Nicepage Settings. With Plugin selected, Nicepage lets you control Headers, Footers, Colors, Fonts, Typography, default Element Styles such as Buttons, and Templates. These changes can be applied across Nicepage pages as well as other WordPress pages.
