Hi Lukasz,

There is o possibility to set the width and height of the whole page, you can only limit the size of the elements in the blocks.

Make your adjustments of the page elements in each view from left to right.
Desktop, laptop, tablet, phone horiz, phone vertical.
Then export to HTML, and upload to your host.
The correct page will display depending on the device it's viewed on.

Hi,

This is Nicepage Sheet width:

sheet-width.png

It cannot be changed. The max sheet width is 1440px. The Sheet width changes depending on the responsive mode.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Just finished designing my website in all device sizes, but when viewing my site via my iPhone XR in landscape orientation, theres 30px of white space on each side of my site. I believe the iPhone XR screen size is 1792-by-828-pixel resolution at 326 ppi. So by the diagram below, means that my iPhone XR is bigger than the max sheet size of 1440px width and will not be able to display at full width on this phone and many others like it???????? Have I got this right ????

Hi,

Not exactly. The iPhone XR viewport size is 868 x 414 in the landscape orientation. Its pixel ratio 2. Therefore this is Tablet mode.

Hi Olivia,

Many sources online states that the XR's viewport size is 896 X 414. My website is fine (responsive) in all modes apart from the Tablet mode, were the whole site isn't extending to the edge of the page, I'm using the default Safari browser on my XR.

Not quite sure what to do from here, I can't publish my site like this...this site was designed with your grids and responsive web design guideline in mind. Also, I was thinking if a box it responsive in one mode, then by default, wouldn't it be responsive in all other modes?

Sincerely,
Chris

Allen,

As stated in my previous email, I've adhered to the Nicepage grid guidelines, Is isn't a user error. even your header and footer doesn't have fullwidth. Please see the attached screen grabs.

Regards/Chris

Hi Chris,

Please provide us with details about the used device (model, browser, and OS version). I've checked your website on my phone and it looks ok. Both header and Footer are stretched to the screen width.

Hi Olivia,

Maybe fine on Android phones, but on the most recent iphones i'm not seeing the full width of the whole site, as you can see from the attachments sent in my last post.

My device is:- iPhone XR, ios 14.2, Safari

Regards/Chris

Hi Chris,

Does the issue happen in Portrait mode?
Did you notice the same problem in Landscape view on any other website with white background and colored header/footer?
I've found the following article:
https://stephenradford.me/removing-the-white-bars-in-safari-on-iphone-x/
It looks like the white bars you see caused by the same Safari "feature."
