Ask a Question

I have inserted a 6 row grid. It goes horizontal on the desktop, laptop and tablet views. On the 2 mobile views the grid will go vertical. This is all great minus the tablet view. I would like the tablet view to go vertical also, but when i change it in the tablet view it changes it for the desktop and laptop view also. I don't want that. I want desktop and laptop views to be horizontal and the other three views to be vertical.

How can i make it so changing the tablet from horizontal to vertical does not change the laptop and desktop???

using joomla.

Ok, so a little more on this. In tablet view it does do a vertical but with 2 columns. I don't want the two columns, i want it like the mobile views where it is one column. (2-columns.jpg)

Also when i add a cell to the destop view(add-cell-to-desktop-view.jpg) (so 7 rows) every view is great except the tablet view. (see tablet-2-columns-error.jpg) The new cell is much smaller than the other cells and i can't drag it to make it larger.

Hi Ian,

Unfortunately there is no way to control the grid layout for each responsive view separately. As for the additional cell with the different size, try to resize it in each view according to your needs. Let me know if that does not work.

That does not work. Again in the other views it is fine, just the tablet view. When I resize that cell in the tablet view it make the cell next to it smaller. So if i make the 7th cell larger it makes the 6th cell smaller, it's like they are tied together in the tablet view.

Help

Hi,

I've asked our developers to check the issue with the 7 column layout in the tablet mode.

Unfortunately, not all changes can be made separately in each responsive mode. Only style changes. The Rotate option affects layout.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
