Ask a Question

How do I change the width of individual columns in a grid?

And how do I change the height of all rows?

Hello Steve,

Thanks for contacting us.

It is simple, you can click the column and then on the left or right side of the border and set it more or less in width. It is working with drag and drop, please see the screenshot, and everything will be clearer.

The height of all rows is like the width, with drag and drop. Please see the second screenshot.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.

Hi George,

But is there a way to set the size of a column for all rows at once?

And is there a way to set the size of all rows at once?

Regards,

Steve

Hello Steve,

Column width is automatically applied to all rows.
Once you adjust a column’s width, it stays consistent across every row in that position.

To set the same height for all rows, the best method is to control the total Grid height (as shown in the screenshot below).

For example, the value H = 800 does not refer to a single cell. It defines the total height of the entire Grid.
If your Grid has 2 rows, this height is divided between them (e.g., ~400px each) unless a cell contains larger content (like an image), which can stretch that specific row.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

George.

Hi George,

Column width is automatically applied to all rows.

So there''s no way to have different widths for each column?

Steve

Hello Steve,

Not quite, you can choose the desired design from the ready-made designs.
You need to add a few of them, conditionally take 5-6 different design templates from the grid, and you will easily understand what we mean.
You can hide any part of any column or make it disappear altogether. In short, you have many options, so you should try.

If the answer was not satisfactory, please send a sample of exactly what you want to do, and we will see if it is possible, a sample, or in the form of a picture or a video or even a link to a live real website where we can see what you mean and what you want to do, in action.

I've attached an image that sort of illustrates what I mean (I hope). And know, these are not meant to be bullet points.

Hello Steve,

Thanks for the screenshot, but what is hard in this picture? In your situation?

You can add any simple grid and modify the column width.
