Hello,
for 2 weeks Nicepage is working very slow and we cannot put nothing on a page. Is there something we can do to make it faster?
Thank you!
Hi Duga, are you using online or desktop verion?
If online, try to clear cache, cookie etc and retry, if nothing change try to deactivate plugin on the browser or try a different browser.
If you are offline what are your PC spec? Try to speed up your pc optimizating software (turn off auto lunch and restart, optimize SSD). Probably is not enught available RAM or too old SSD (if you are using an HDD that's the problem xD)
Hello,
The problem first occured on an older laptop which I've been using for years to create a web site for an NGO focused on helping children and their families (www.udrugaana.hr) using your software.
Thinking it might be something related to the laptop specs, I've installed it to a newer laptop (under 1 year old) with better specs:
AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Radeon Graphics 2.60 GHz
16 GB of RAM
Micron 2210 MTFDHBA512QFD SSD NVMe
I've transffered the back-up copy of the page and it seemed to work.
Now again the problem persists.
From what I can figure out, your software has a limitation on the number of blocks which can be used/added on a sub-page.
Namely, the site has a problem when I wish to open the sub-page "Mediji" (where I put all the news/links appearing on other media sites) to add more blocks/additional content. It currently has 377 blocks.
Then it "locks" for about 10 minutes to load everything in that sub-page, although the amount of data itself is not that large.
Is there a fix for that issue?
The only thing that comes to mind, if no other solution exists, is to maybe use the "Blog" to input new content and then reffer to an individual sub-page (blog post)...
Kind Regards,
Krunoslav Duga

Hi Duga, I'm a user not the assistence. Still I don't understand, are you using the software desktop version or online? I check the wesbite and I think that you use the desktop version and then you upload on your hosting. So the problem is on the website, not the software app, right? Problem can be on the hosting: performance or something installed on I see you are not using wordpress... so it's html?
Are you using a hosting on your choose right? Not seems be nicepage hosting
For limitations of blocks etc depends on your license.
Hi Krunoslav,
There is no direct limitation on the number of Blocks per page except for license limitations. But please note that in both the Desktop app and the Online builder, the design area uses a browser. When you edit the page, the browser needs to rebuild the page. This process takes CPU resources. The more elements and code there are on a page, the more resources are needed for this. The 377 Blocks with elements inside create a lot of code per page. The browser needs to read this code to rebuild the page each time. This is a very resource-intensive process. Therefore, it is quite possible that such pages are quite slow, especially if you have more applications running on your computer that need CPU time too.
