Hello :)
We have meanwhile found the following very important functions when working with Nicepage which we miss and which are incredibly important for a CMS framework:
1 We can't copy sections between the pages "online".
2. changes that affect many pages are incredibly time-consuming.
Example:
For example, we offer hundreds of services in one city. 12 main districts with about 96 sub-districts.
Now we have created with Nicepage a top page (The Index or Pillarpage) we call you for the easier comprehensibility [ Index Page ].
It represents the category for the individual services. Let us assume we have [ 10 categories].
They are still easy to maintain and or change.
What do we do if there are more [ 10 subcategories ] per category?
These subcategories must also be maintained. And now we miss these [ 10 subcategories] even more [ 10 service pages ] ...
So we have to create the following pages in total
[ 10 index pages ]
The first page is created and the others are copied.
[ 10 Index Pages ] [ 10 Subcategory Pages ]
The first category is also created here and the others are copied or modified.
[ 10 Index Pages ] [ 10 Subcategory Pages ] [ 10 Service Pages ]
Also here the first page is created and the others are copied or modified.
Now we only have to change one small thing ... Ouch :D ;) ... You see the problem that has nothing more to do with a CMS system and with its advantages ... Thus the framework for real CMS applications is useless because of the online cooperation. For a few pages it is ideal.
We now see two online solutions that their competitors have already implemented.
Solution one:
They create master templates (usable online). Changes affect all others. Real CMS Framework.
Solution two:
They enable us to save the individual sections online at least as a temporary interim solution. This would reduce the additional effort... Also already realized by their competitors.
What I'm asking is that you really take a stand on this problem. Say we want here clear answers and clear deadlines if you should include them in the Wishlist. References that we can realize this on the desktop with thousands of articles we have are not solution oriented. We don't need Dreamweaver. We need a framework.
We like your product and would continue to use it for our smaller customers. It's ideal for that. For the online cooperation in a team with a CMS system Nicepage is unfortunately not usable.
Thanks in advance for a good discussion :)
