Reporting an issue where I lost an hour's worth of work after the nicepage desktop windows application asked me to sign in or it wouldn't save. So I did and then waited and then closed nicepage. I then opened it again and low and behold nothing was saved. So now I am redoing the work from memory.

Having a manual button there to save wouldn't be the worst idea. This really sucks.

Hi,

We are very sorry for that. But unfortunately, we failed to reproduce this issue on our side on a few computers. We tried different scenarios. Could you please provide a step by step description ща exactly what you did so we can reproduce the issue and fix it.

I was signed out of Nicepage but did not realize that I was signed out. I thought I was still signed in and something became corrupted on the page (the text) so I went to close the program and reopen it. When I went to close it asked me if I would activate it etc as if I was a new user and so then I clicked cancel and then signed in. I waited a few seconds and then closed the program and it did not bug me about losing any information and that little message at the top said "saved". So I closed it and opened it again and voila the work was gone. This could be a common scenario for people as the user can become frequently signed out and may not realize it.

Could you please explain this issue in some details?

Actually, the "Activate" option is an analogy of "Sign In". You can use this option to sign in too.

I assume that you signed in using the option from the top bar, right? I've tried this scenario too but autosave worked as it should.
As I understand the issue with saving happened only once, right? I think it could be related to the issue with Text. please explain this issue in more details and let us know what you did right before this the issue with text occurred.

The save function does not work properly.
I made some changes on my home page - click on the save button, but nothing happens. Doesn't save the changes.

I then duplicate the home page and the save function worked on the "duplicate homepage" but not on the home page. I went back to teh home page but still save function does not work.

Hi Pieter,

You are working in the desktop application or on the live site?
Please create a new private topic and provide an access to the site backend if it is live or attach the theme exported as a project and point to the exact page that does not save the changes. Maybe a short video demonstrating the problem will be also helpful.

the same thing happens to me, I did several edits on the site and I can't save now what? will i lose everything? I opened a topic too.

Hi,

If the issue happens on the CMS side, please disable caching and clear all caches and disable CMS extensions that may prevent the plugin from updating the files on the server (various security plugins). If the issue continues, please create a new topic with the detailed issue description and access to the CMS admin panel. We also suggest that you check server logs and search for the error messages.

maybe possible that this was a problem on the computer hard drive activity and not on nicepage...
