Jiří,

FTP is for uploading HTML. WordPress and Joomla required the export and installation using regular ways.

For more please create a separate private case and we will help you with the installations.

Hi, Paul,
When I install the template manually, it works fine. So I export to a directory on my computer and then copy the appropriate folder via FTP to the template on the server. In joomla, I then need to do an explicit update of the template and it works. When I do this via the Nicepage desktop application, nothing gets uploaded to the given template directory, even though the Nicepage application says it uploaded fine.
I bought the Business version primarily for this, so I wouldn't have to do the two steps in the upload, but as I can see, it was probably a waste of money. Even in any of the Nicepage instructions, there's no mention of FTP uploading anywhere, how to use it and whether it works.

Hi, Jiří,

Do you have the same result when you install a template to Joomla 3 manually? Have you tried to use another FTP client?

Hi

I have Joomla 3 on my domain and I want to export from desktop version using FTP. The test connection works. The application tells me that it has exported everything to the desired template, but nothing changes on the site (and in the server files). How is this possible? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, Krzysztof,

Thanks for being our customer!

Nicepage allows the creation of websites for publishing on external hosting services. You can export your site from Nicepage to HTML, and upload all site files to your server root manually or via FTP. If you installed WordPress or Joomla on your domain, select the corresponding export options.

Let us know if you have any further questions!
