Ask a Question

we are here https://riponplumber.com want to create single page site and be able to later add pages. How do I set this single page as the home page? I have read your instructions THOROUGHLY and they are not written that clearly.

I am able to use the nicepage no prob very intuitive awesome. How do I set the page I have created as hompage?

I am creating a single page site - no other pages created. What appears now is still Cassiopeia.

I wonder if anyone at Nicepage has read instructions as I am seeing deficiencies in what is described and what is actually present. like this
"Creating Articles
Go to "Nicepage -> New Page."
Select a preset design or start from Blank.
Save your Article.
On the "Articles: Edit" page, click the "Preview page" button to preview your page.
Click the Close button."

WHY NOT BE CLEAR ON HOW TO SAVE THE PAGE THERE IS NO "SAVE" BUTTON PRESENT AT LEAST NOT INTUITIVELY

ONLY WAY i SEE TO SAVE THE PAGE IS TO PUBLISH IT. AM I MISSING SOMETHIGN OR AM I GOING TO FACE CONSTANT BATTLE WITH POORLY DOCUMENTED BACKEND AND FRONT END MANAGMENT?

NOW HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM IS FOR WRITING INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO NOT GET PEOPLE AS PISSED OFF AS I AM TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE EASILY DONE.

Creating Articles
Go to "Nicepage -> New Page."
Select a preset design or start from Blank.
Save your Article.
On the "Articles: Edit" page, click the "Preview page" button to preview your page.
Click the Close button.
Updating Extension
The updates are available as for the Desktop Applications, as for the Joomla Extension.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PUT HERE IS HOW TO DESIGNATE THE PAGE WE HAVE JUST CREATED AT THE HOME PAGE THIS IS WHERE IT NEEDS TO GO OKAY? HAS ANYONE AT NICEPAGE DONE THIS CHECK TO SEE IF DOCUMENTATION MATCHES WORKFLOW??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

When a new version is released, you can see the notification on the Control Panel page.
Click the "View Updates" button.
On the "Extensions: Update" page, locate the Nicepage row in the table.
Check the box in the Nicepage row.
Click the "Update" button to install the Extension Update.
Go to "Content -> Articles."
Open any Joomla article created with Nicepage.
Click the "Edit with Nicepage" button to run the Editor.

And while trying to figure this out there is an inaccuracy in your video which is confusing - as shown in the screen caps named accordingly.

In my window there is no project export button as shown in the video. Would this function be the same as what the publish button is doing now in my view?

I am evaluating other options quix, SP and others. I need questions answered as how to have the homepage set to what I create in Nicepage, not make it part of the Cassiopeia default template.

Once that question is answered will purchase ultimate subscription.

Would prefer to go with Nicepage but if i cant set what I create as the home page, not a link to a subpage of the Cassiopeia template will be good to go.

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed answer.

The Export into Joomla is available in the Nicepage Desktop app with the Free Starter Plan. You can try that also.

To assign the Nicepage page as your home page, go to the main menu and select the article.

For the export of the template and content, watch our documentation. Feel free to contact us for further assistance.
