Hi there,
I've had another long weekend with Nicepage. And I'm very frustrated AGAIN with the way you work. I don't want the post to be set to private as I believe an open discussion is better for you.
What annoys me the most at the moment is your update strategy. A new animation every week that nobody needs and old things are not fixed. This includes, above all the MEGAMENU. Since that's not the only thing that currently causes problems, I'll put together a list:
- I haven't been able to use the Joomla contact form in the product template for over a year. They only work in content pages
- If I use a product carousel in a content page, I cannot use the "round" images because they are not displayed in the frontend for about six months
- If I build a grid in the header, then there is no guarantee that it will be properly displayed on the page Nicepage saves and exports what it wants.
- With the product image sliders, the distances that are available in the desktop app are not observed
- Very tiring work with the product pages, you never know what nicepage will take as a placeholder and what not, so mobile pages have a lot of white space and look ugly - extreme in product description
- For several weeks I have not been able to edit content online for pages because Nicepage 4.26 - 4.33 does NOT save -> Errors discussed in the forum, but you can't be serious about disabling a firewall
- in general it is not really possible to build your own product detail page, it costs hours or days
- it is currently the case that changes to the header and footer from the desktop app are not displayed in the content pages, template pages have the changes
I'm sure I've forgotten a few things and I want to tell you that you should please make Nicepage a serious program and not a content generator for lots of clown sites, where everything is animated like in a circus.
So please add mine to the wish list: "Make quality and no animation"
My main problem now is that I have to update several pages from Joomla 3 to 4 this year. And it's the case with me that I get a fright when Nicepage pushes out another update that throws me back weeks.
Greetings
