Ask a Question

I am a little bit worry about the company's health having all the competitors like WIX, JIMDO and the end of Artisteer4 in mind. As i cant find any annual report or strategic roadmap for NP i simply ask straight foreward - Is NP the future Website Builder? I know ... not easy to answer. But you can whipe out most of my concerns if you can answer the following question with a YES

Are your engineers, your secretaries, your facility managers, your CEOs, your coffee makers, and.... and....
are they happy working for nicepage? ;-)

Thanks and greets from Bavaria,
Thilo

Um..... do you really expect an answer to this question?
No company will promise you anything in the future.
Not even big companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, or anyone else.
No exception here.

Projects from this team

Artisteer: 2008 - 2015 (7 years) - now is closed
Themler: 2015 - 2022 (7 years) - now is more dead then alive
Nicepage: 2017 - ????

If Nicepage cycle will be 7 years as Artisteer and Themler, then this product will be closed in 2024. But probably we will have new modern software.

This math looks logical as each 5-7 years we have major updates in web technologies (new CSS and HTML standards, PHP/JS updates, new frameworks and design languages).

Themler stopped receiving major updates few years ago... If we take a look at Nicepage, we can see that here also no major updates last year - only fixes and small features like new animations (separate topic about this). So... +2 years for small updates and fixes for Nicepage looks realistic.

Hope that Nicepage team will release something new and great in near future, as Nicepage quite old and design language that they call as "Web 3.0" (web layout as typography layout) not useful in most cases, not popular in web and difficult in responsive (one of the many topics about problems with responsive mode). Possibilities of Nicepage very limited (can you round submenu? - no, can you add language switcher dropdown? - no, megamenu? - no, etc.). Even Themler is more advanced tool.
