Hi, Spurthi,
Thanks for being our customer!
The Blog, Post Template, and the Blog Posts Element are just placeholders. They display the actual content of your WordPress blog posts (or Nicepage blog posts, in case you are creating the static HTML website). In Nicepage, you can edit only the design of your CMS blog posts. In general, the design is adjusted in Nicepage, the content - in WordPress.
Also, on your screenshot, I see two Blog Posts Elements. If you have two or more Blog Posts Elements with the same filter options on a page or the template, they will display the same posts. You can filter the first Blog Posts Element with one category, and filter the second Element with another category. In this case, your posts won't be duplicated. Please check this article: https://nicepage.com/doc/82441/blog-posts-on-pages-with-plugin
I have couple of blog posts on home page, few more inside say I have another page inside the theme and I want another set of blogs to show up there but everything comes up on home page
Clarify please, is this website is a WP website? If yes, please go to Settings ==> Reading, and switch to A static page instead of Your latest posts.
