Markus,
Please open your desktop project, templates and set the 404 template correctly.
https://nicepage.com/doc/172341/404-not-found-template
Please note, text element 404text will output the text default from the Joomla, if you need the 404 page to be exactly as in your desktop application, please delete the element:
After you upload the Nicepage Theme and set it as default, Joomla will use 404 template for not found pages. The 404 Template is used automatically. You can easily check this with a preview of your site.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Anna
Can I do it in the online version as well? I have changed certain things when working in the Joomla environment which werde applied in the online template - being different than in the online version. So, I would prefer adding the 404 in the online version.
Thanks, Markus
Hi Anna
Looks like it is not working in the online version.
However I have done as you suggested it in the offline version and imported the template.
The page should only show what it shows in the template, but if you check it, it looks this:
https://joom43.cpc-photo.ch/index.php/test
Could you pls check and let me know what to do next?
Thanks, Markus
and one more thing - if this page come sup, the link to the starting page does not work:
Markus,
Please have a look at the tutorial, as it was previously said, you need to delete the 404text element.
You can update the template only in the desktop application and import it to Joomla.
As for now, there is no installed 404 template on your site.
You can import only Theme from the desktop application, no need to update the content part. - https://nicepage.com/doc/72666/export-and-update-of-joomla-template-from-app
Please go back to your desktop application project, select the template to adjust, delete the not-needed 404text element, save the template, save the file for export to Joomla and upload to your Joomla site.
As for the logo link on this exact page https://joom43.cpc-photo.ch/index.php/[page_550118108] - the link is actually added to the logo and goes in the wrong direction to this page itself, not Home, please check once again.
