Overview

This article explains how to create logs to investigate various issues with the Nicepage Desktop application.

Create debug.txt

1) Create an empty debug.txt file in the following folder:

For Windows: %APPDATA%\Nicepage

For Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Nicepage

2) Restart the Nicepage Application.

Console Logs

You can send the debug.txt and the Console log file to the Nicepage team by following the steps.

  1. Start the Nicepage Application.
  2. Click F12 for Windows (Command / Option + I - for Mac).
  3. Switch to the "Console" tab.
  4. Reproduce the issue
  5. Save the log file to take a screenshot.
  6. You can also switch to the "Network" tab and save the log or take a screenshot.

Send Files To Nicepage

  1. Create a private case in the Support System at https://nicepage.com/Forum/Topic/Create.
  2. Attach the debug.txt, log files, and screenshots to that case.
