Ask a Question

Hello,
we need to set up a UA Analytics in a running page The way via the Nicepage App seems to be too dangerous, since we have already changed the content online. Therefore I don't want to risk that. I found the generated code in the index file. Can I copy it into the online version without much stress? Or are there more changes in the index file?

I just added the analytic number on a test page and uploaded it as described, unfortunately it does not work. Nicepage does not display the number and the code. We urgently need a solution.

Ok, this is really very weird guys! In the page settings under the tab google, you can't copy the ID from the clipboard, if you type it by hand it works. I have never seen this before. So it is possible to run the UA-xxx on a running system. I found a page in the forum here where it works, that made me want to reproduce everything exactly. It did not say expliziet in it, but if you write something into it, the text input works, just not over the clipboard.

So problem solved!

Hi,

There are a few options on how you can add the GA analytics to the websites:

  1. Site Settings in the Desktop application. In this case, you can export the theme only. This theme is applied to the Nicepage pages when one of the following options is used:
    page-template-settings.png
  2. Site Settings in the plugin. These settings are applied to the Nicepage pages if the following option is used:
    page-template-settings-np.png
  3. Custom HTML. You can add it under the Page or Site Settings >> HTML tab >> Additional Head HTML.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Olivia
