However, it does not save and when I hit enter it says "No posts found" in red underneath the category name box.

In fact, no matter which radio option is selected (Recent (all categories), Category, Tags) nothing is displayed in the block on my homepage. It is blank.

Can you please tell me how to get this working.

In Joomla, I have several articles assigned to a category I created called "News" On my homepage, I have added a "Blog posts" block and to that block I added the "Blogs posts" element. I then select the blog grid which brings up the blog configuration in the right hand panel. In the "Filter posts by:" section, if I click on Category and type "News" into the category name. However, it does not save and when I hit enter it says "No posts found" in red underneath the category name box. In fact, no matter which radio option is selected (Recent (all categories), Category, Tags) nothing is displayed in the block on my homepage. It is blank. Can you please tell me how to get this working. Thanks.

Hi Julie,

The Blog control can show only the posts created with Joomla native editor, they cannot show the articles created with Nicepage. So please check that your category has articles created with Joomla native editor.

Oh, okay. Is there a plan to support it showing articles created with Nicepage in the future? It seems quite strange for it to only show native Joomla.

i am stucked with the same issue
Post a new article with joomla native editor in the category to be shown in post elemnet
No way !
Still "No posts found"
Please get this issue fixed ASAP

Same issue with the Wordpress! Cannot assign existed category to the blog post element to filter by category! No posts found error appears! Tried to create a post with the Wordpress native editor and assign to category then tried again with the Wordpress Nicepage plugin assign the option filter by my_category_name - again No posts found. :-(

Only native WordPress posts from one category should be visible.
If you have issues assigning the existing category to the blog post element to filter by category please create a new private ticket with temporary admin access to check this.
