Looks like you need to contact your hosting administrator and ask them to increase the corresponding value in the php.ini file.
Also you can use FTP upload directly to the themes folder.

I have Ftp'd it into the themes folder but when I go to themes is says the stylesheet is missing and offers a delete button

Hi,

Please make sure that you have uploaded the unzipped folder and not the .zip archive. You can export the theme from Nicepage as a folder and then this folder should be placed in the wp-content/themes folder of your site. I have tested such option on my side and it works fine.

Not sure we are on the same page here I am trying to upload the wordpress plugin to do the work up there

Sorry, I thought you were trying to install the theme. Plug-in should be also unzipped and uploaded to the \wp-content\plugins folder. So the nicepage folder will appear in the plugins folder.
