I opened nicepage for the first time in 6 months and all of my websites are gone - including a clients site that need updated. I can access the html in my files but not the project files and I cannot import them.

On PC, they are in your Documents folder, under the Nicepage Templates folder.
C:\Users\your_name\Documents\Nicepage Templates
Or, open your Nicepage app, select Export, and look at the folder path it's saving to.

The html is there but not a file that will import to get them set up again - it says its not a valid project file
Do you have an actual "project.zip" file?
You need to have that box checked when you export the files to html.

Have you tried the suggestions above? Probably the path to the projects folder was changed as the projects cannot be deleted without your actions.

I have the same problem.
Is there no one from support at Nicepage who can write in clear text how to set this up in Nicepage so that it works again? I see several have the same problem, so now someone has to address this!

Under NP preferences, what folder path is it pointing to?

How do you OPEN THE FILE IN NICEPAGE???? I AM A DEVELOPER AND CANNT FIGURE THIS OUT. I NEED MY FILE BACK UP!
Look where your Profile > Projects folder is pointing.
It's usually Documents\Nicepage folder.
Do you have anything inside that folder on your hard drive?
Did you move any files from your Documents folder?

The path and name of the project folder are set directly in the Desktop app under Profile >> Preferences.

I have this issue and see no way of getting my project file. this is bs.
Um...you need to be a little more specific.
Desktop version?
Documents\Nicepage is where the working project files are.
That target folder is set under the program Preferences, in the app.
It's not that hard, unless you messed the folder/file structure up, which is the cause of most of the issues that users on the forum have since they moved things they shouldn't have.
I'm happy to give recommendations once I know more specifics.
ok I have the same issue. I was working with my websites yesterday. This afternoon I wanted to continue and they are all gone. All the work that i have done is gone. How do i recover all my sites? is there no way tro import them back from a saved file. I dont always export my projects once i am finished working on them for the day.
Normal windows 10 desktop.

First, did you move any files/folders?
That is usually the cause of issues.
Look at Documents\Nicepage folder and see what's inside. They should be Site_####### project folders.
Look at Profile > Preferences in the app settings, and see what folder it's pointing to.

I have checked but I have changed nothing so I am not sure why it did this. I think its a buggy program. Will look at another website creator..Money not well spent I think. :(

Could you please create a separate ticket with the explanation of your issues, we will be glad to help you. Usually all the projects are saved in the Nicepage page on your computer, try to search for this page and then use the correct path in the Preferences >> Project Folder.
And we also need more details about the issue with the video, your project and some screenshots will be helpful.

I have the same problem. I opened Nicepage and I saw a message "Can't find Users/XXX/documents/Nicepage" ... etc.
I did not manually delete the Nicepage folder.
This message appeared at exactly the same time as the message asking me to install the new update.
I have searched my entire drive for any folders with the word "nice", and I can't find anything. I deinstalled Nicepage and downloaded the latest version from your website and installed it. All my sites are gone.
Running on a Mac Mini M1.
