What are you using as an audio/ mp3 work around?

I managed to insert insert an audio widget as per Nicepage's video.

Great! Unfortunately, as far as I know, I think there is only one Widget Area (Primary Widget Area) so if you insert one audio clip in this widget area, it will appear each time you insert the "Position and Shortcode" function of Nicepage.

It would be fantastic if you could create your own Widget Areas with Nicepage. As far as I know, this should be possible if they decided to create the feature.

I tried using a Post Block and creating a post with audio inserted in it. Unfortunately it looks like the Post Block is programmed to only grab the featured image and text so it will not include anything related to media etc.

The irony is posting audio is super simple with the Wordpress editor. Sometimes it's really frustrating when using replacement creator/editors as they attempt to reinvent the wheel.

I've been researching short-code solutions. I found one that looked really good but required using the Post ID in order to invoke the player. However to get the POST ID of the playlist, you need to check the URL which again, is too difficult and inconvenient for my clients. Next I think I'm going to see if there is a plugin to show the Post IDs.

I'm told it has been put on their feature list, but I don't know if we'll see it any time soon. They're pretty focused on the virtue mart capabilities and I think a lot of the basic functionality stuff has been pushed aside for the time being.

If you create a replacement editor for a CMS, it must be able to do all the basic things the default (Wordpress) editor can do (in this case, add audio elements). Creating an audio element is so easy as far as web programming goes, and wouldn't take long to implement into Nicepage as the players are built right into the browsers.

We have added this request to our wish list. Shane, thank you! it's true, we are busy now with delivering on the voted eCommerce support. We are very thankful for your patience! for now, you can try to use any third-party code to embed mp3, inserting it with the HTML Element.

Waiting for an audio element please.

I try to remind them whenever possible. Still waiting. Such an easy feature to add too. The HTML code is so simple. I bet it could take them 1 day to implement.

This would be a game changer for me and my clients who don't want to / can't manually code.
