I fixed the Menu Name to be hmenu, but it is still not showing up when deployed. I don't know what this "menu module with the correct source is placed into the hmenu position and is assigned to all pages." means. Is there more detail about this somewhere?

Nicepage uses a standard Joomla Menu module. Therefore, to make the menu appear on your website a Joomla Menu module should be added to the corresponding "hmenu" module position, it should be assigned to all pages and desired the correct Joomla Menu. You can check the Menu module settings under the Content >> Site Modules in Joomla.
