NicePage Plugin won't Update in Joomla

I use NP in several Joomla websites and cannot update the plugin on any of them. When I try to update or install the newer version, I get a blank white page.
My setup is a VPS running Linux Cent/OS 7
Database mysql 5.7.31
PHP Version 7.3.20
Web Server EasyApache 4 (2.4)
WebServer to PHP Interface fpm-fcgi
Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.9.20
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows 10 x64 Firefox/78.0

What do you recommend?

a blank page usually means a server / php error. enable error reporting and set it to maximum. then try again. I was able to update my joomla's just fine

I increased the PHP "Memory_Limit" to 128M and my NP updated.

Thank you.. this helped me, too.
My memory size was also 32M (the default, I think.. I don't ever remember changing it.) I tried setting both verbose errors and increasing the memory limit, and the update was successful.
