Header and footer Editing in Joomla

Hi John,

Unfortunately, you cannot update all theme elements (header, footer, Bog and Post templates) through the plugin. If you need to make changes to the header and footer only, please make them in the Nicepage Desktop application, then export theme only and install it on your CMS website.

The plugin has its own version of header and footer and they can be edited, but only for Nicepage pages https://nicepage.com/doc/header-and-footer-with-extension-81605

This is very painful and a step back from your previous software, Themler that didn't tie the user down to a desktop version. I might have to use alternative software. I don't know why it is crippled like this.

The option to edit the whole theme online is in our wishlist. For now it may be not so complicated to edit the look of the theme elements in the desktop application and export the theme once to the site.

I run Linux so I can't run the desktop application unfortunately. Is there somewhere where we can vote on the wishlist?

Sure, you can use the Vote option in the forum topics. And also I have seen that our users are successfully using Wine to run the desktop application.
