Are we able to put icons with menu items like the attachment?

If not why are WP plugins not working with NicePage I've tried

Hi,

Nicepage does not provide Vertical Menus but the third-party plugins should work ok. If you encountered any problem please create a new private topic with the detailed issue description and access to the CMS admin panel so we can investigate this issue.
