Edit Nicepage articles as JOOMLA author

I am the adminstrator of a JOOMLA site
I have created Articles in Nicepage which serve as place holders for content which have to later edited by Authors who login and edit the pages.
I have tried to edit the data as an Author using the JCE Editor, but all changes which I have made as an Author are not saved in the Page.
I do not want the Authors ( there are around 20 of them) to make use of Nicepage to edit the Articles.
Kindly inform if such editing is possible?
If so what should I do to permit it?

currently not possible. Nicepage pages require the nicepage plugin to be able to be edited
