Menu Styles

Ask a Question

Is there a way to change the "style" of a header menu. I'm unable to see options for the design of the menu like Artisteer. I'm only seeing square or rounded square. Is that all is available in the new software? If so, I find that very disappointing.

Thank you for your assistance.

@Denis L.
isn't Artisteer planning on closing down? Is it still being developed? Just curious.

I don't know about Artisteer but Themler is the "next gen" of it, developed by the same team.

Thanks : )

I have Themler and I constantly get booted out of it. I have the fastest Internet lightning speed with Spectrum, too. ? Therefore, I've grown sick and tired of even trying to create with Themler. Artisteer was a 1000 times better than Themler because it was a download and install onto my PC. I still use it and it still works. It's lacking in responsive design, though. It has it but it sucks.

Still no update here?! I had expected some big improvements at the moment by now.

Maybe Nicepage could provide a roadmap with (major) expected updates?

Hi,

We haven't implemented the new features for the menu styling in the latest updates, but it is still on our wishlist. There are no dates for the new menu features, but please follow the news.

1 year later and they still working on the future of menus! 3.0 - I guess when you only get 1 year updates they need to continually find things to update they will stretch it out as long as possible.

Could you please specify what plugins do you have in mind, so we could study the issue?

I have not read here for a long time and frankly, I'm a bit startled by this answer. Do you not watch the market so much? I can not imagine that. Check out codecanyon.net or other sites for menu plugins for WordPress or Joomla, check out Elementor Pro for WordPress, take a look around the web, see how headers and menus are made today, and then compare that to the paltry possibilities in Nicepage.

So really ...

Nicepage mostly is a pagebuilder, not a Template/Theme builder like Themler. So there is some restriction. In Themler you can find more option for menu style. You can try to use both Themler + Nicepage but please note, they powered by different frameworks.

Nicepage position is a software as simple as possible so there is no huge options for style something.

I do not agree, at this moment, Nicepage is one of the best websitebuilders there is. It's more than a pagebuilder. There have been improvements on the menu styliing.

I wanne give the nicepage team a big compliment for doing a great job!

Not used it few months, I see there is version 2.0. Is Megamenu and Vertical menu already available? Language switcher menu added?

I see that now you can add the Joomla Position into the Off-Canvas Panel - it's awesome, this feature lack in Themler. Seems that Nicepage getting forward step by step. Will be great if it can be more friendly for creating templates, not only for pagebuilding.

Hi Remco,

Thank you for your feedback!

Hi Vitaliy,

I see there is version 2.0. Is Megamenu and Vertical menu already available? Language switcher menu added?

At this moment these menu types and the language switcher are not available. But MegaMenu is in our future plans as well as multilanguage websites. We launched voting recently and received the results which will help us to set priority for tasks in our backlog.

I know position about "as simple as possible" software so regarding this you drop some options. But maybe you can split up Nicepage by two parts:

  1. Nicepage for template with more options in future to create wide range of menus, sections (as part of template not single page) etc.
  2. Nicepage for content that will remain as simple as possible with less options

And maybe third part: wide range of controls.

I can not believe what I'm seeing and reading! I've been following the evolution of this product since November 2018, and they are claiming to be the new revolution in terms of WEB 3.0, but it doesn't even have more then 3 or 4 customizing menu options... options that lets you make basic menus like in 1995.

And to top that, the Dev team is asking US what we're talking about when we say there needs to be more menu customisation options... are you pro developers or not?! Are you even up to date in the Web design tendencies?!

Sadly, this NicePage product is really not ready to be pushed out as a release paying software. From all the options that are missing, just for menu editing (I'm not even talking about the rest of the software options), which is one of the most importent thing in a Website, it should be tagged as in Alpha stage (not event Beta).

I wish Nicepage a great futur but on my part, I've been an Artisteer and then Themler customer for many years, and there is NO WAY that I'm going to put a dime into NicePage until it surpasses these two other products. If you want to succeed and be the leader in the Web industry, you should develop you product at minimum to the level of Artisteer and Themler before even thinking about pushing it out as a full release... and asking for paying customers.

I wish you good luck, but it's a NO GO for me... and most certainly for a LOT of your potential customer base.

Regards,

Denis L.

And still no multilanguage support.... How possible to use Nicepage for HTML with lack of important features for this?

Can you share top 5 most voted features that you develop right now?
