link to download files in the website

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to insert pdf files into the site which can then be downloaded by clicking a button

Vote to pay developers attention to this features or issue.

Hi Baltazar,

You can create such a button with the URL to the file that you have stored on the server. So basically you need to load the file o the server first, then copy a full link to the file and use that link as the button URL in the content.

can you show an example of this? i created a button and then tried to paste the URL to connect to the button but it would not paste. i am using dropbox for storage. do i need to use something different?

Put a folder where you are hosting the site with your pdf files.
Link there.
https://www.site.com/files/something.pdf
