Printing out website pages

Hello,

In the past with Artisteer, I have created websites and then removed coding in the template : media="screen", which enabled me to print out the website exactly as it looked on screen. This was so helpful to my clients and their customers, as it looked professional and replicated on paper what they saw on screen.

I have tried this with NicePage template coding, but it no longer works.

Please can you tell us how we can print a Nicepage web page, so that it looks exactly the same as it does on screen.

Hi Belinda,

Do you mean the print option in the browser? We do not create special print.css files. If you need to see the whole page printed, you can use the Image export option in the desktop application where you can print the whole page as the image and provide it to your cstomer.

Actually, I have found a way to achieve this. If you add the following coding:

into the <head> of the template index.php file, it works.

Such a simple thing to do, Nicepage should consider having this in all their templates.

It makes such an important difference to what you offer your customers and their clients. There are other things to do, too, which I haven't needed to and recommend looking at the following web link:
