Ask a Question

You have a great app! I was able to knock off a landing page design in a very short time. I have some older HTML sites I would love to import, either plain HTML or Dreamweaver based. Would it be possible to create an import routine for them?

David,
unfortunately, Nicepage does not contain this feature.
But if you have a Website address of your HTML pages you can type this address into Add Image, Add Block or Add Page dialog in order to import your content (images and text).

That's still pretty neat, thanks. I assume this is one page at a time?

Hi David,

Yes, that should be performed for each page.

This would be the greatest time saver ever! I do hope you'll look into adding a feature that imports a complete HTML web page.
I've found how to bring in the images from a website address but not the text. Could you explain how to do that and thank you. I have multiple large sites I'm trying to move into NicePage.

Best,

D. Nevel

Hi,

I've found how to bring in the images from a website address but not the text.

You can simply copy the text from the website to Nicepage Text control in a usual way.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Is there a video showing how to do this? I'm sorry, I just don't see how.

Hello Garret,

There are no specific actions.
We are telling you that on the new Project you have Text Elements to which you copy-paste text from any other website.
For now, it's possible only manually.
If you need more clear explanation - please tell us.

It's the same as copy/paste text from any source.
On the website, use your mouse cursor to click and drag over whatever text you want to copy to highlight it, then right click/copy (or Control + C), go into NP where you want to paste the text, right click/paste (or Control + V).

Searching for bootstrap compatible systems I found this one, nicepage is apparently good, but the absence of this feature (open file) is fatal, I believe it is a matter of time for the system to crash due to this restriction, there is a similar one, #pingendo opens bootstrap pages very well. Regrettable this restriction on #nicepage

Szymonillo,

Niceapge does not parse deployed websites. You can add pages to the working project on the Dashboard or Pages Panel of Quick Access.

I never really saw an answer to the above question about how to do this as suggested by Jones in support:

"But if you have a Website address of your HTML pages you can type this address into Add Image, Add Block or Add Page dialog in order to import your content (images and text)."

What/where is the "Add Page dialog" that this is referring to?

Thanks!

Hello dan118762,

Thanks for using Nicepage!

Please create a new Separate Case and ask your question in there.
For better understanding and clarification maybe we will need your private details, project details, credentials, etc.

We may need that case to be private. We will try our best to help you.

George.
