You say, "The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires to embed the fonts."

I don't understand this. The GDPR is only concerned about personal information so what's the connection with fonts?

The trick is this.

how could using fonts via Google's service possibly run afoul of GDPR?
The fact of the matter is that, when a font is requested by the user's
browser, their IP is logged by Google and used for analytics.

It's indeed very much required. The bold part right there would be in breach of the GDPR if the IP isn't annonymized

This is NOT an issue with my disk. Windows 10 reports both disks on my PC as being healthy.
