Joomla - Manage - Main Menu - 9 Menu Items

NicePage Joomla Extension - Page - 9 Page
If I click on an article, it shows up the 'Edit Article' page, in the content section it shows my NicePage creation (perfect), 'NicePage Header & Footer' is selected also.
On the NicePage Joomla Extension, if I click on the Menu, go to Menu Items in the right panel, click Edit, I get the Menu Editor window which states that the Menu Editor is only for design purposes, and to edit menu links to go to Joomla - Manage....... but my menu items are already linked to the appropriate articles in Joomla itself, but i've also gone into the Menu Editor, and clicked each menu item, and then clicked the article name to go with it.
Yet when I publish everything, and go onto the actual website, the homepage works, yet when I click another menu item, I get a '404 Error - Page Not Found' white screen.
What am I missing? why am I getting the 404 Error pages? i'm new to NicePage yet I can't see which part i'm missing here, if the NicePage design i've done is showing in the Joomla Article content section, and the article is signed to the specific menu item, then why again am I getting the 404 Errors? totally confused.
