Ask a Question

Hello, I have joomla_nicepage_plugin 2.8.2. with joomla 3.9.16 running. I have protected the joomla administration directory with htaccess provided by the webspace provider.

Desired behaivor:
- If I type www.domainname.com I get the website.
- If I type www.domainame.com/adminstration/ I get a popup with a additional password request.

Current Situation:
I type the domain name like www.domainname.com (with no subdirectory) and I get a pop up with the protection from the administration.

This is because the component "Nicepage" from the startpage loads stuff from administration area:
http://domainname.com/administrator/components/com_nicepage/assets/

e.g.
http://domainname.com/administrator/components/com_nicepage/assets/js/nicepage.js
http://domainname.com/administrator/components/com_nicepage/assets/css/media.css
http://domainname.com/administrator/components/com_nicepage/assets/css/nicepage.css

Question:
Is there a way to tell nicepage not to do it or load it from somewhere else?

Thx,
Marko

Hi Marko,

Unfortunately, Nicepage cannot load the listed files from another location. Please try adding the problem links to exceptions. This may help.
