Report a bug

Hello.
Yesterday (June 15), I created a website draft using your offline app.
Even yesterday, it was quite difficult for me to log in. The attached screenshot appeared (01).
Today (June 16), I wanted to finalize it, since that version was still just a rough draft that couldn’t be used yet. However, I was greeted by the same screenshot again (01).
After I logged out of the website, the screen did change (02), but I still cannot use the application. No matter what I select, it logs me out immediately.
Please help me resolve this issue.
Thank you,
Berta Sándor

Hello,

The reported error indicates that the application is having trouble accessing your Documents folder. Nicepage uses the Documents folder to store projects, backups, and application data, so if access to this folder is restricted or unavailable, the application may not function correctly and may repeatedly log you out.

Since you are using macOS, please check the following:

Verify that the Documents folder exists and is accessible in Finder.
If your Documents folder is synchronized with iCloud Drive, make sure iCloud is connected and the folder is available locally.
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders and ensure Nicepage has permission to access the Documents folder.
If enabled, check any macOS privacy restrictions that may be preventing Nicepage from accessing files in your Documents folder.

Anna.

Dear Anna!
The application has access to the document folder. However, this is still the case.
In the "Document" folder, there is a folder called: "Site_53580126". When I looked through the material in it, it contains the materials of the previously worked page. However, I cannot access it.
Is there any solution to this?
Thank you:
Berta Sándor

Hello,

This folder Site_53580126 is your project file saved by the app. Zip it and copy to another location before removing the app's cache.
You can clear the cache and try to log in again:

  1. Close Nicepage completely.
  2. In Finder, select Go → Go to Folder... and check the following locations:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Nicepage
    ~/Library/Caches/com.nicepage.Nicepage
    ~/Library/Caches/Nicepage
  3. Move the corresponding Nicepage cache folder(s) to the Trash.
  4. If the issue is related to login or application settings, you may also need to remove the Nicepage preferences from:
    ~/Library/Preferences
  5. Restart Nicepage.

Please note:
Before deleting anything, we recommend making a backup of your projects and checking whether your projects are stored locally or synchronized with iCloud

Let us know.

Anna.

Dear Anna,
I deleted everything I found, and it’s working now.
I do have one question, though. I’d like to make a block a little smaller. When I start dragging the bottom part upward, a red message appears: “●100 vh,” and it always reverts to the taller block. What could this be?
Best regards,
Sándor Be

hello,

You can easily adjust the block height if it is empty by dragging from the top or from the bottom. You can also try to set the exact height in the right panel, see attached.

Dear Anna,
For one thing, I can't view the demo because the "Desktop app" won't open. It starts loading and then closes after a few seconds.
It doesn’t work in online mode either, since my completed website isn’t showing up on the online interface.
This is the second time I’ve wasted several hours of work for nothing. Is your app really that unreliable? The time I’ve spent so far has already cost me more than if I’d purchased a two-year subscription.
Your app looks good, but it’s very unreliable. Is there any way to recover the app I’ve already created?
