Report a bug

Hello,
Every time I don't open the desktop application for about a week, I have to log in again. I use Nicepage sometimes on desktop, sometimes on laptop, it happens quite regularly and it's a bit frustrating.
Plus, the redirection to the browser and back, it's really "user friendly".
Is it possible to:
1. Add a "Stay logged in" or "Remember me" option that would keep the session for a longer period of time (e.g. 30 days or more), or
2. Extend the default session validity period from about 7 days to a longer period.

Thanks
Pavel

Hello Pavel,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We understand how frequent re-login can be inconvenient.

Currently, the Nicepage login system is based on a secure session token stored locally on your device.
This session typically expires after approximately 7 days, after which re-authentication is required for security reasons.

Several factors may cause you to be logged out more frequently:

  • System cleanup tools or antivirus software removing stored session data
  • Internet connectivity issues are preventing background license verification
  • Application or license updates requiring revalidation

We recommend checking whether any system cleanup, browser data clearing, or security scans are running on your device, as these may remove the stored session token.

Additionally, Nicepage already provides a "Remember Me" option during login (please see the screenshot).

If you have any additional questions or encounter any difficulties, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
George.

Hello George,
So, do you think 7 days is enough? Can I change the validity of the license to 10-14 days somewhere in the registry, for example?
thanks Pavel

Hello Pavel,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, the session validity period is controlled on the server side for security reasons, so it cannot be modified locally (e.g., via registry or system settings).

At the moment, the available option is to use the “Remember Me” feature during login, which helps extend the session within the allowed limits.

If you have any further questions or need any assistance, please feel free to contact us. We’ll be happy to help.

George.

I agree - this is very annoying. There's no real need for this - other apps don't have this "feature" ... Nicepage is the only app that I have to log into if i haven't used the app in 7 days.

July 2026 and this is still annoying me. When I log into other apps installed on my MAC, I only have to do it once.

Cmon' guys!

Hello,

The periodic sign-in requirement is part of Nicepage's license verification process. At the moment, the application may ask you to sign in again after a period of inactivity to verify your subscription or license status.
Unfortunately, there have been no changes to the account verification process yet. We've added your comments as well.

Thank you.

I must agree with everyone. 7 days is ridiculous and way way to short. It should be set to a minimum of 30 days of inactivity, just like other software that require you to verify periodically. Please change this in your servers ASAP. It was so much better back when you didn't have to login. Very very annoying.
