Ask a Question

Hello, my name is Greg Middents and I am a member of the Key West Lions Club in Key West, Florida. Your company created a website for our club. Unfortunately, the person who had control of the web site is no longer wanting to help the club. She will not give up access code. Can you help with this? Bwe need to get access to update the site. Can you help? Can you guide me on what I can do. Thanks, Greg

Until support comes:
If they own the domain (keywestlionsclub.com), there's probably no way for you to get it back, until it expires (7/10/26) and isn't renewed.
At that point, you could grab it.
You could consider .org, .net, keywestlions.club, etc.
That current one page site could easily be reproduced using this software and hosted by Nicepage, but assigning a domain requires a license if hosted by them.

Hello Greg,

Thank you for reaching out and for providing the details.

We understand how frustrating this situation can be, and we’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re experiencing with accessing your club’s website.

To clarify, Nicepage itself cannot override or retrieve access credentials if the website, hosting account, or domain is fully controlled by another individual. If the former administrator owns the domain and hosting account and does not provide access, there is unfortunately no direct technical way for us to grant control until ownership changes.

If the Key West Lions Club officially owns the domain, we recommend contacting the domain registrar or hosting provider directly. With proper documentation proving the organization's ownership, they may be able to assist you in regaining access or resetting credentials.

If access to the existing site cannot be recovered, one alternative would be to recreate the website using Nicepage and publish it under a new domain or a different domain extension. If you choose to host the site with Nicepage, a valid license would be required to connect a custom domain.

Please let us know if you have any questions

Sincerely,
Ahmad.
