This text can be removed only with the Premium Plan. The Free License does not allow removing it.

As it relates to download or export your site. When I publish, I'm able to export the relevant HTML files. Is that part of the free package. At some point I will have to purchase a plan, but for starters I may be good with using the free plan if certain functionality is availability.
