Ask a Question

Hello,

since last week (since latest update?) i have the following problem:

After adding and uploading a new picture the image is getting pixelated / unsharp in the processing. See attached files (screenshot and original image). This effect occurs when using jpg and png format, but not gif.

Could you please check?

thanks and brgds,

Kristian

Hi, Dan,

We understand that this issue is very frustrating, but we are currently working on it and hope to fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As a workaround, you can upload an image to an image hosting and insert the image URL to upload an image in the editor.

I am using WebP now. WebP is the best also concerning image size. You can easily convert jpg to it with this free tool (also in batch mode):

Hi, Kristian,

Yes, WebP is among those formats that are recommended to use in website building. This format allows compressing images without significant quality loss.

It would be great if Nicepage would have this converting feature (jpg to webp) in future. This would save much time and it would improve all built websites.

Hi Kristian,

Could you please clarify if the JPG and PNG images are uploaded well into our editor at the moment?
