Ask a Question

Hi,

When I try to edit a Nicepage page in my wordpress site I am presented with the login dialog and after entering my credentials and submitting, I get the following message:

"Your browser is currently set to block third-party cookies. Please allow cookies from nicepage.com to sign in."

I have spent quite a bit of time trying to resolve this issue with no luck.

My browser settings appear correct, 3rd party cookies are not blocked and the site I am editing is registered as an "allowed" site

I am currently logged into NicePage in Chrome on another tab and there are no prompts to accept cookies.

I can also see there are 16 cookies under the nicepage.com domain in Chrome Settings

I am running Chome Version 80.0.3987.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I do not have this issue using the latest version of Firefox, but my preference is to work with Chrome so I would like to resolve this issue.

Can you assist?

Regards

Greg Johncock

Hi Greg,

I am currently logged into NicePage in Chrome on another tab and there are no prompts to accept cookies.

Do you mean that you logged on one tab but Nicepage asks to login on another tab? In general, if you logged on one tab it should be enough and you just need to refresh the page. If Nicepage asks for login, in this case, please create a short video that demonstrates the issue in these two tabs and browser cookie settings.

No, what I meant by that was that i can log into the nicepage site fine in this browser. That the site itself does not have a problem with cookies. Its only when I try to access Nicepage via Wordpress that I get the message that 3rd party cookies are disabled, when they are not.

It only appears to be the browser on this pc. I have 2 other computers at my disposal so I did some teseting and as long as I have logged into Nicepage.com in the browser prior, there is no issue editing the widget.

I have actually gone to the lengths of completely scrubbing history, including cookies. I have even uninstalled Chrome, restarted computer and reinstalled Chrome. Only to be faced with the same problem again.

I am having the same problem.

I just downloaded the Nicepage Plugin for my Joomla and when I try to log in it tells me "Your browser is currently set to block third-party cookies. Please allow cookies from nicepage.com to sign in."

But, I can log in just fine on nicepage.com ...

I checked my cookies settings and nothing is set to block third party cookies ...

Please help...

I seem to have the same issue since the last update of Nice Page. I was able to login to nice page (in Wordpress) until 2 week ago.
Plugin version = 2.7.0
Local installed version = 2.7.8
Error during login : Your browser is currently set to block third-party cookies. Please allow cookies from nicepage.com to sign in.
Cookies settings in Chrome Version 80.0.3987.122 (Officiële build) (64-bits) see attached screen shot.
Hope you can fix this asap

Yes we have the correct setting for 3rd party cookies, this was stated previously.

You need to appreciate that I have spent hours trying to resolve this issue and have checked, rechecked and checked again all the required settings etc.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you please open the DevTool, open the console tab and try login again.
And send to us screenshot of any errors in the console tab

At this moment as a workaround please try the following:
1. Open CMS
2. Open https://nicepage.com/ in another tab and log in
3. Go back to the cms and just press F5

Hi Greg,

Please try the following solution:

  1. open a new tab in Chrome
  2. navigate to nicepage.com website
  3. login
  4. go back to the CMS editor
  5. click F5 to refresh the page. Now you should be logged in.

Please let us know the result.

Nope, that doesnt work.

I even tried clearing the current cookies stored by nicepage.com and closing browser, then reopen and attempt to connect.
I always get the login dialog and when I enter the login credentials its telling me "Your browser is currently set to block third-party cookies. Please allow cookies from nicepage.com to sign in."

Same issue here (google chrome only). Few days ago I have created sample page directly in wordpress, but now I am not able to edit the page in wordpress because I am not able to login. (I am using facebook login)

It will only redirects me to page https://nicepage.com/Editor/Account/Authorized?externalSource=facebook&app=cms&IsSignup=False#=

say:
Great! Authorization completed successfully.
Return to Nicepage application.

And that is it! in wordpress there is still login screen.

In firefox the login worked fine but messed up font sizes, spacing etc. So I am pretty sad from trying that.. :D
