Ask a Question

Up until now, I have not had any issues importing content from template. Based on previous discussions about this, I don't think it is my php settings (current version is 7.3.13) as the total unzipped folder containing the plugin and contents are less than the max size (15.5mb to be exact). As a test, I created another subdomain on my hosting server and did a clean install of Joomla on it. After installing the Nicepage plugin and the template, I performed the import function again - same error. I was preparing to make my site go live at the end of the month, so I would like to see a solution soon.

Thank you,

Tim

Hi Tim,

The issue may be also related to the security settings on your server and to the limits that are set for the request size. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check what is blocking Nicepage requests.

Hello, did you solve this problem? Because they no longer give me an answer, this software is terrible, they should better invest in Themler, but they wanted to swallow the cake in one bite and they choked, it is the second time I have invested in this software and nothing works.
Tell me if you solved the problem?

To be honest, I don't really remember if it was solved or not. I think I finally ended up not using the desktop version of Nicepage and just did all my design and content changes from within the Joomla CMS (which Nicepage was installed as a plugin). From there, I don't think I had any problems at all.

Hopefully this helps someone who falls into this issue.

Check your logs and mod security. I was seeing errors like this.
ModSecurity: Output filter: Response body too large (over limit of 1048576, total not specified)
Something to do with plugin status so I just added this to HTTP and HTTPS directives.

<IfModule mod_security2.c>
    SecResponseBodyLimit 546870912
</IfModule>
