Ask a Question

Hi

When I want to add the section 'menu' to my project, it's grey and I cannot select it.
For desktop, I have created my own menu using buttons and hyperlinks for existing pages.
Those menu buttons are not visible for mobile users because I wanted to add a mobile menu there.
Why I am unable to add a menu and if I do this the wrong way, what can I do?

Thanks
Ava

Hi Ava,

Please provide more details and the screenshot of the whole screen. You are trying to add the menu on the live site within the WP plug-in?

Hi,

No I am just trying to add a menu in my nicepage website (still offline and not using WP).
However, I just found out I can add a menu when I add a header to my page.

But: I seem to be unable to add the header only to mobile as I have my own created menu on the desktop version.
The reason I do not want to have the header on my desktop page is because I want my website to start with my logo in stead of the menu. On Mobile, I am fine with it that the menu is the first to see (the three stripes indicating you can unfold the menu).

But both seem to be attached to each other. I cannot disable the header and menu for dekstop and enable it for mobile. Is that correct?

Hi Ava,

The Header cannot be disabled for the responsive views and also you cannot insert Menu outside the Header. You can add the menu in header and position it in the different locations in each responsive view.
