Hello everyone,
I'm facing a frustrating issue with the header and footer on my blog posts and I'm hoping for some guidance.
My website is cyfrowagrafika.pl. It was built with Nicepage about half a year ago and the main pages work perfectly. Now, I want to add a blog section (which is called "Aktualności" on my site).
Here's what I tried to do using the Nicepage Desktop application:
I wanted my blog posts to have the same header and footer as my homepage.
I created a new Post Template. In the editor, I imported the correct Header and Footer from my main page template. It looked perfect inside the Nicepage editor.
I then exported the new template files and uploaded them to my server via FTP, replacing the old ones.
The Problem:
Unfortunately, this did not work. When I view a live blog post (e.g., on cyfrowagrafika.pl/aktualnosci/), it still shows a different, incorrect header and footer, not the one I configured in the Post Template.
As I'm not a programmer, I'm finding it very difficult to understand what I'm doing wrong. The process seems logical, but the result is not what I expect.
My Questions:
Could you please provide a simple, step-by-step guide for a non-programmer on the correct way to make the Post Template use the exact same global Header and Footer as the rest of the website? I feel like I'm missing a key step in the Nicepage logic.
Alternatively, is it possible to safely update my whole site to the latest version of Nicepage? I'm wondering if a newer version would make this process of editing templates easier. My main concern is that I absolutely cannot lose my existing pages, content, or the current design. Is there a reliable method to update everything while preserving the site 1:1?
Any help or a clear explanation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
