Report a bug

Hello Nicepage Support,

I’m encountering an issue with the Desktop version of Nicepage. Although my Business license is active (registered to thomasjuenftw@gmail.com, valid until May 19, 2026), I receive the “Activation was successful” popup every single time I launch the application.

This seems to indicate that the activation state is not being stored properly on my system.

I’ve already verified the following:

The software is up to date.

I am using the desktop version, not the web editor.

The activation completes successfully, but the message keeps returning at every startup.

My operating system and user account have full administrator privileges.

Please advise how to fix this issue so the activation popup no longer appears each time I open the application. If there’s a configuration or file path I should check manually (e.g. license.dat or AppData folders), I’d be happy to follow your instructions.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Thomas Juen / Goldsonne

Hello,

Here are a few things we recommend checking:

  1. Antivirus or Security Software
Some antivirus or security programs (e.g., Bitdefender, Avast) may block Nicepage from writing to the license file location. Please check if your antivirus has quarantined or restricted Nicepage, and if so, add Nicepage as an exception.

  2. Check Write Permissions
Make sure Nicepage has full read/write permissions to the following folders:
    Windows:
    C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Nicepage

  3. Try Running as Administrator (Windows)
Even with admin privileges, try right-clicking the Nicepage icon and selecting “Run as administrator”—just once, to see if the license file can then be saved correctly.

  4. Reinstall

Delete the contents of the Nicepage folder in AppData or Library/Application Support (please back up the projects folder first).

Download and reinstall the latest version from our official site.

Activate again using your existing account.

If the issue persists after these steps, please let us know your:

Operating System version (Windows/macOS and version number),

Antivirus/security software name (if any),

Whether you use any syncing software that may affect local folders (e.g., OneDrive, Dropbox).

Anna.

Hello,

I have carefully gone through all the recommended steps, but the issue still persists.

Antivirus: Avast is completely disabled.

OneDrive: I do not use it.

Permissions: The folder C:\Users[MyUsername]\AppData\Local\Nicepage has full read/write permissions.

Run as Administrator: I tried this multiple times — no success.

Reinstallation: I deleted the contents of the AppData folder (after backing up my projects) and reinstalled Nicepage from the official website. The problem remains.

System details:

Windows 11 (latest version)

Antivirus: Avast (disabled)

No cloud-sync software like OneDrive or Dropbox is in use

Something is still blocking or failing, despite all checks.
I’d appreciate further assistance.

Thank you,
