Hello, this is about NicePage desktop v2.3.1

  1. I go to "Add block"
  2. Then "2020+ Designs" button
  3. I see a list of designs, I can select anyone without problems, but If I use the category filter I can´t

For example:
In category filter I choose "Business & Law"
I see designs results, but when I try to click on anyone nothing happens (it does not insert the design in editor)
It only happens on designs resulting from category filter

I have try it on NicePage online and it works fine. The problem is in NicePage desktop.

Please help!

I have failed to reproduce the issue on my end. Does it happen with one project or with any of them? Try to reload the application and try again.

I have reload NicePage and the problem does not fix.

00:00 to 00:20
When I hover designs they show a border around. I can click and insert bloks fine from main list.

00:20 to 00:54
I filter blocks from category "Business & Law".
When I hover designs there is no border around them, and when I click on any of them nothing happens
(it does not insert the block in the editor)

Can you see the problem?

Hi,

We see the issue but still cannot reproduce it on our side either in the Desktop application or CMS plugin.
We plan to release a new update in the next few days. Could you please test this update and let us know if the issue continues.

I can reproduce this issue. You click on the block and it never inserts it. They were all marked "New"

Does the issue happen with all websites or with a specific one? Does the issue happen right after relaunching the Nicpage application?

It happens on all websites
It happens every time, including after relaunching app
Tested on Nicepage Desktop 2.4.1
If you need it I can offer myself to do a live test on my app

I found it does it on all filtered catergories but it works if you don't choose one. I started a new site just for this so it is not an ongoing project. i installed the update today an it's a bit worse than yesterday. If you click the block it simply closes an does nothing.

Hi,

Please provide more details about your environment: OS version, default browser, screen resolution, installed antivirus.
Also, please create debug.txt file in the %APPDATA%\Nicepage folder, then restart Nicepage, press F12, switch to the Console tab and reproduce the issue. Then please provide us with the console log.

I was not able to find %APPDATA%\Nicepage folder

Hi,

The default path to the folder is:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Nicepage

Please provide a Console log:

restart Nicepage, press F12, switch to the Console tab and reproduce the issue. Then please provide us with the console log.

The debug.txt file includes a little different log.

My "C:\Users\User\AppData\" folder
only contains "Microsoft" subfolder

Rolo,

We mean C:\Users{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Nicepage.
You can find it by entering in address input on windows explorer window: %APPDATA%
