Very angry I was automatically, without approving, had VAT added on. I am based in Guernsey and don't pay 20% VAT!! I would not have agreed to this addition, but it was done automatically without my approval.
Surely that is not legal to suddenly add something?

You should have at least warned people you would add VAT at checkout - I was comparing your price with others and it turns out I was comparing false information. Very angry - will leave a review publicly as much

On the payment page, when you proceed to PayPro Global page, they always include VAT as a separate line in the final price. Unfortunately, we cannot say what tax could be added to the price until the client inserts the country of residence, this is done on the PayPro Global page, our reseller. Unfortunately, we cannot control how they warn clients about taxes, but they are mentioned in the price calculation before you pay. Like on this screenshot:
