Favicon is not displayed

Hi Christof,

Please check the templates used for Nicepage pages in Joomla. Most probably the "Nicepage Header and Footer" template is used. If so please switch it to one of the "Theme..." options.

Hi, same problem here. All pages are set to "Nicepage and Footer", all caches cleared but I still can only see my ofl favicon.
Is there another parameter to configure?

The option highlighted on the screenshot above loads the template stored in the plugin. Therefore the theme favicon is not displayed. Therefore please try either one of the theme options or upload favicon (favicon.ico file) directly to the Joomla or server root folder. Sometimes it can be displayed this way.

I have the same problem for an html site, www.phuket-scuba.com. All working, but in both English and Dutch site favicon is not showing, but has been uploaded to server in image folder.

Just noticed it is browser related. On Explorer, Chrome and Firefox the favicon is showing, on Opera it is not.

same bug here. After one of the last NP updates, all my favicons disappered. I didn`t change anything. It happend without any manual impact.

Hello, I just want to ask if how to put the favicon.ico in nicepage, I already uploaded the file in cPanel but nothing happens in the website, but the back end of my website which is the joomla changed. Any help?

Hi,

You need to add the icon under the Site Settings >> General tab in your desktop application and then upload this Theme to the site. After activation of the theme you need to check that all your pages are using the Theme Header and Footer option so the theme settings will be applied.

I have the same problem, it does not load the favicon and from the Joomla administrator the favicon option shows this error

Are you using the Nicepage template on the site? The favicon is the theme element and you can add it in the Nicepage desktop application >> Site Settings >> General before exporting the theme. If this does not help, create a separate ticket and provide more details about the issue including your project and access to the site backend.
