Joomla - how to assemble a page to the template

Hello, sorry I am quite new with Nicepage. My web runs on joomla 5, has quite a lot of content so far. I installed the nicepage extension and created a page with the menus, blog posts etc. that work. And now, how do I transform this one page (one article with ID 437) to be as a template/homepage? Should I create a blank template in nicepage desktop and install it? And how do I link this article ID437 to be shown on homepage?

If you want a page to be the homepage of your Joomla website, you should mark the corresponding menu item as a homepage in the Joomla menu settings.

Unfortunately, you cannot transform a Nicepage page into a template. For a better understanding, could you please tell us what exactly you want to display on this page? Thank you.

Hello, perhaps I expressed myself in a bad way.
My web https://www.rokytno-nm.cz/ is quite old, runs on joomla. The only available template is cassiopeia, it is difficult for me to adapt its graphics. I want to use nicepage - simple template, header, menu, 3 latest blogs and one latest article in the full. That is all.
My first question:
Do I need the nicepage extension in the joomla administration to be installed at all?
Or, shall I only create such a template in the desktop version? I tried this, but without positive result.

There is no need to install the Nicepage extension if you only have Joomla articles and just want to install a Nicepage template for them. The Nicepage extension is aimed at creating and editing Nicepage pages on Joomla.

Or, shall I only create such a template in the desktop version? I tried this, but without positive result.

To install a template, you should design it on Nicepage Desktop or Online, upload it to your Joomla admin panel through System ==> Install ==> Extensions, and activate it through System ==> Templates ==> Site Template Styles. Could you please specify the exact difficulties you faced while creating a template?
